Marvellous Njoku (MBSS, Dip IBLM) is a medical doctor and an international board-certified
Lifestyle Medicine Physician.
She is the founder/CEO of Dietal Health Labs, an innovative medical platform on a mission to
reduce the burden of Chronic diseases: Diabetes and obesity in particular, and their consequences
among the African population, through a multi-pronged approach focusing on one of the most
important factors: Nutrition, among other lifestyle measures.
She is the author of The Ultimate Diabetes Control Guide, a diabetes self-help book designed to
help individuals prevent and control diabetes through lifestyle changes and correcting common
mistakes.
In its premier community outreach plan called PROJECT 5000, her nonprofit, “My Healthy
Community,” partners with medical institutions, organizations, individuals, and local government
offices to provide free screenings, drugs, lifestyle counseling and education, as well as resources
to 5000 indigent people living with diabetes.
Dr Marvellous is a motivated Health Educator, who speaks at physical events and virtual media
platforms, teaching people about lifestyle changes to prevent and reverse chronic illnesses with
specific focus on Nutrition. She is particularly passionate about Diabetes prevention, control and
possible reversal which has made her partner with reputable Diabetes Foundations.

Dr. Chika Anozie is a medical doctor with over fifteen years of experience. She is presently an Assistant Director in the employ of the Nigerian government where she heads the Clinical Services of an organization.
Additionally, she holds an International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (NEBOSH IGC, UK); a post-graduate diploma in Family Medicine, and a Master in Public Health (MPH) from Cardiff University, UK. An advocate of healthy lifestyle practices, she is Internationally Board Certified as a Lifestyle Medicine Physician by the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine (IBLM), USA.
She has featured as a speaker/panelist on different fora where she enjoys addressing real-life issues, especially family life and healthy lifestyle practices.
Her passion is the desire to see people living their best lives by taking charge of their own life, health, and well-being.

Chinasa Trinitta Amadi, a Russian trained Medical Doctor, Board-Certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician of the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine (IBLM) and a UK Certified Weight Loss Coach and Nutritionist, combines the finest of Clinical and Lifestyle Medical Practices. She holds a master’s degree in public health from the United Kingdom and is presently one of the thirty- seven Board Certified Lifestyle Medicine Physicians in Africa. She is a Fellow of the African Institute of Public Health Professionals.
Dr. Amadi is passionate about helping her community to adopt healthy choices to live healthy lives. Her passion led to the founding of Africa’s first Digital Lifestyle Medicine Practice, Ariella Health and Fitness Ltd, which has now become the first and only brand to offer an internationally recognized CPD accredited health coaching course in Africa. Ariella Health and Fitness has since inception worked with over ten thousand clients digitally across six continents, yielding desired results with a 92% customer rating.
A Director at Queen of Peace Hospitals and a Co-founder of Trinitta-Rose Charity Organization, an NGO dedicated to the social and health needs of indigent members of the society. Dr Tijani Oseni is a lecturer and Consultant Family Physician/ Head, Lifestyle and Behavioural medicine Unit, Department of Family Medicine, Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma/ Irrua Specialist Teaching Hospital, Irrua, Nigeria. He is a fellow of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (FMCFM) and currently doing a PhD programme in Social and behavioural Medicine in the University of Calabar, Nigeria. His research interests are Family Medicine Education, Lifestyle and Behavioural Medicine, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Primary Health Care.
He is the Research Secretary, Society of Lifestyle Medicine of Nigeria (SOLONg); a member of the WONCA Working Party on Research; Head Afriwon Research Group; and Assistant Head, AfroPHC Research Team.
He teaches Family Medicine and mentors undergraduate and postgraduate medical students. He is passionate about rural Family Practice where he seeks to use effective low cost behavioural and lifestyle approach to bring about improved health care to the rural populace.

Dr. Moyosore Makinde, MBBS (Ibadan), DipIBLM/SOLONg, FMCFM, FWACP is a Consultant Family Physician and an International board-certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician at Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria. She is the past Education secretary of the Society of Lifestyle Medicine of Nigeria and is the newly elected President of the Society of Lifestyle Medicine of Nigeria (SOLONg).

She is the treasurer of the Society of Family Medicine of Nigeria, Lagos zone and also the General secretary for the Wonca Working Party on Women & Family Medicine, Africa region. She is the founder of a not-for-profit organisation, Lifestyle Champions International which is focused on medical education, health coaching and mentoring in the adoption of healthy lifestyle choices in order to prevent lifestyle-related diseases.

Dr Oore as fondly called is a Gospel music minister, she is married to Dr Kehinde Makinde is blessed with three children.

Dr Mimi is a passionate physician who has distinguished herself in her pursuit for excellence in healthcare delivery. She is a graduate of Medicine from the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria and holds both a Post Graduate Diploma as well as a Masters in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. She is a fellow of the West African College of Physicians (Internal Medicine – Neurology) and a Board Certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician (from the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine, United States).

Dr Mimi is an active member of several associations including the Nigerian Medical Association, the Medical Women Association of Nigeria, the Nigerian Society of Neurological Sciences, the American Academy of Neurology, and the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society.

Dr. Ifeoma Nkechi FAGBEMI (nee Udolisa), a seasoned medical practitioner, is a 1988 graduate from the School of Medicine, University of Benin, Nigeria. She holds a Master of Public Health (Community Medicine) from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria and a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (DTM & H) from the University of Liverpool, United Kingdom.

In addition, she has acquired cognate skills through series of certificated capacity building programs for healthcare service delivery as a First Responder, the provision and management of Public Health in Complex Emergencies, and Integrated HIV/AIDS Prevention, Care and Treatment. Others include the trainings to acquire skills for Counselling, and for Strategic Leadership and Management.

Dr. Ifeoma Fagbemi is a recipient of the 1998 Warrington Yorke Medal for International Community Health, at the meritorious completion of DTM&H, University of Liverpool, UK.

With close to three decades of experience in the health sector, she has acquired considerable wealth of public sector based experiences. Her great passion for preventive, lifestyle medicine and promotive health have endeared her into participating in diverse non-governmental and pro-bono healthcare initiatives as additional means to contributing and facilitating a proper functioning and effective health systems that will enable Nigeria to improve her national health indicators.

An analytic mind, with out of the box orientation and capacity, she is a seasoned facilitator cum researcher that seeks to connect dots for holistic problem solving and capacity to work with multiple stakeholders, even as a team player. Her knack for details, patience in dealing with ambiguity and making tough decisions, interpreting complex human dynamics and the sustenance of effective medical and healthcare delivery has further enhanced her capacity for strategic leadership and management skills; positioning her to bring medical expertise to the business side of healthcare.

Dr. Charles A. Cudjoe qualified as a Medical Practitioner from Athens University School of Medicine, Athens. His Internship was at the University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan while his Residency in Surgery was at the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (Surgery Department) and the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the Royal College of Surgeon of Edinburgh Scotland.

He obtained a Masters in Public Health (MPH) degree from Boston University School of Public Health in Boston and a two and half years Fellowship in Behavioural Medicine at Harvard Medical School, (MBMI Beth Israel Medical Centre) Boston, Massachusetts. USA.

From 1996 – 1999 he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Harvard University Mind/Body Medical Institute in Boston Massachusetts working with Professor Herbert Benson, where he acquired extensive knowledge in Stress Management, Mind/Body and Behavioural Medicine.

He was the first recipient of the Daniel G. Holbrook Research Fellowship in Behavioural Medicine at Harvard Medical School. He is a Member of the American College of Physician Executives.

He founded the Byron Institute in Boston in 1998 with a group of American Scholars, and the Nigerian Branch was launched in September 2001 with him as the President and Chief Executive Officer.

Since the Byron Institute’s inception in Nigeria, Dr. Cudjoe has organised Corporate Health Programs on Stress Management that provides valuable information on the Importance of Stress Management. He emphasises how stress affects an individual’s well being especially in the prevention of strokes, heart attacks and diabetes. Included is Financial stress management and self-care skills, appropriate nutrition and exercise all of which are focused on building healthy communities by recommending population based preventive/intervention strategies to stress, hence, reducing diseases, disabilities and early deaths of executives in their prime age.

Dr Ifeoma Monye, MD, FRCGP, FACLM, DipIBLM/BSLM, is a Fellow of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners, UK, a Portfolio NHS GP, founding member and Regional Director of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine, Chief Consultant Family Physician, National Hospital, Abuja, Nigeria, an alumnus of the “Women Transforming Leadership”, SAID Business school, University of Oxford, founder of the Brookfield Centre for Lifestyle Medicine, and founder and President of the Society of Lifestyle Medicine of Nigeria.

An alumnus of the University of Benin College of Medicine, Benin-City, Nigeria, Dr Monye is passionate about Lifestyle Medicine education in schools, universities and post-graduate colleges. In 2019, she brought the first and still the only international board certification examination in Lifestyle Medicine to the shores of Africa, by leading the effort to establish this examination in Nigeria through the Society of Lifestyle Medicine of Nigeria. Dr Monye has dedicated her life to the clinical practice and teaching of Lifestyle Medicine, as well as spreading awareness of this new specialty, bringing it to equal footing with other medical specialties.

Dr Monye, is a member of the Advisory Council of the International Virtual Group Consultations, member of the Advisory Council of the Global Positive Health Institute and expert member of the Health and Nutrition Technical Working Group of the Nigeria Development Plan-Agenda 2020-2050.

Dr Monye, a published author, serves on the Editorial Boards of both the International Journal of Disease Reversal and Prevention-Incorporating the International Journal of Lifestyle Medicine, and the Lifestyle Medicine Journal. She is a reviewer for the American Journal of Lifestyle Medicine and the lead author in the recently published textbook in Lifestyle Medicine, “Lifestyle Medicine: Essential MCQs For Certification in Lifestyle Medicine”, published by WILEY Blackwell.

Mrs Chioma Mmiriukwu is a Registered Dietician Nutritionist (RDN) with extensive experience in individualized nutrition profiling, counseling and diet planning aimed at helping her clients improve the quality of their health and fitness levels.

Having worked with people in various aspects of life, she has a rich and diverse cultural perspective on nutrition and how to apply the practical knowledge in health and disease conditions.

Her clientele cuts across individuals with need for weight management, Diet counseling, stress management, general lifestyle modification and those with health concerns that require diet changes like the hypertensive, diabetic, arthritic, etc.

She is a wife and a mother.

Dr. Adelowo’s Profile Dr. Abiodun Bamidele Adelowo is a Public Health Promotion Specialist, Board Certified Lifestyle Medicine Physician (from the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine, United States), and a Certified Wellness Coach (from the Spencer’s Institute, United States). He is also a Fellow of the African Institute of Public Health Professionals.

Aside his medical degree, he holds an International General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety (from the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health – NEBOSH, United Kingdom); Diploma in Health Security, Safety and Environmental Management; Master of Public Health (MPH); M. Sc in Health Education/Promotion; Post Graduate Diploma in Lifestyle Medicine; and a Ph.D. in Health Education/Promotion (subspecialty in Lifestyle Intervention and Workplace Health Promotion).

Dr Adelowo received his medical and postgraduate training in Health Promotion, Healthy Aging, and Lifestyle Medicine from world-renowned institutions like the Harvard Medical School; University of Pennsylvania; University of California; Vanderbilt University; University of Pittsburgh; St. Francis College, India; and the University of Lagos.
